The Bagsay-Lahi Class of 2006, embodying the class motto of “E Pluribus Unum”, has consistently demonstrated their commitment to community service through various engagements. The class has tirelessly worked towards fortifying community bonds and enhancing the well-being of society. During

the beginning of 2023, the class spearheaded various community uplifting activities from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The community engagements Class 2006 resonate with the enduring principles instilled by the PNPA, showcasing a harmonious blend of leadership, service, and the unwavering pursuit of excellence that defines the Bagsay-Lahi legacy.

At the helm of groundbreaking innovations, LAKAN CHRISTOPHER R. PENILLA, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of BJMP Center for Jail Excellence and Strategy Management, former BJMP GMA Cavite Municipal Jail achieved notable milestones. LAKAN PENILLA’s commendable efforts were not only recognized through awards such as BJMP’s Best Municipal Jail at the national level and BJMP CALABARZON’s Best Municipal Jail regionally but also extended to fostering impactful collaborations. During his tenure as the Municipal Jail Warden of GMA Cavite, LAKAN PENILLA spearheaded innovative solutions in correctional service delivery. Particularly, his collaboration with DICT Tech4ED which played a pivotal role in earning the Champion award for DICT IV-A at the World Summit on Information Society Prizes 2023. This achievement underscores LAKAN PENILLA’S multifaceted commitment to excellence, community service, and efficiency within the correctional services landscape.

On March 14, 2023, the PNP signed a Memorandum of Agreement with City Mall Commercial Center Inc. represented by its President, LAKAN FERDINAND J. SIA for the expansion of National Police Clearance System (NPCS). This collaborative effort signifies a pivotal step towards enhancing public safety and convenience. The support and engagement of City Mall President LAKAN SIA, an adopted member of class 2006, further exemplify the class’s enduring commitment to public service. The streamlined process not only empowers individuals and fortifies community safety but also showcases the collective dedication of Class 2006 in contributing to the ongoing initiatives of the PNP for the betterment of society.
